Peninsula Hotel Hong Kong is one of the top 10 hotels in the world.

If you can't afford to stay here, you still have to check it out by either walking into its shopping arcade or having a high tea.

It used to only accept customers with foreign passports. That means that they did not accept any local customers for accommodation.

Since the economy downturn in the late 1990s, this policy has changed.

My hubby and I have not stayed here yet, but, every time when we visit, we must pay a trip for the high tea.

The high tea was about USD$80 for 2 people. It comes with some pastries and 2 cups of drinks. It may be a bit expensive. But to enjoy the atmosphere and environment over there as a millionaire, it is priceless.

Hong Kong was so famous in its textile industry. Therefore, many good tailors can be found. With the moving of factories to mainland China, most of the tailors are located in Tsim Sha Tsui area which is where the Peninsula Hotel Hong Kong located.

Perry, my hubby, bought a tailor-made suit in 2005 for my sister's wedding. And can you guess where he bought it? Of course, in the Shopping Arcade in the Peninsula Hotel. Within 3 days, there were 2 fittings and the suit was ready. "Men, oh men"....the suit looks and fits so awesome. Although they moved to another location, we still go there to buy.

See the balcony on the top right hand corner, it is where the tailor was located. There are more restaurants upstairs, too.
